I had an amazing experience at Project Burger on Alameda Island. The burger was truly top-notch, made with fresh ingredients and packed with bold flavors. The atmosphere was welcoming and stylish, making my meal even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a gourmet burger experience. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Okay, I'm a burger enthusiast. A serious one, who's guilty of working a burger pop-up on the side. So, trust me when I say that I know my burgers. Yesterday, I visited this local joint with my girlfriend and our fur baby (yes, they're dog-friendly - outside seating for the win!), and it was nothing short of delicious. Now, as a burger-aficionado, my order was a no-brainer: a grass-fed burger with that classic American cheese, hand-cut fries, and a fountain drink made with locally-sourced Alameda sodas. Remember, folks, a real cheeseburger's charm lies in that perfectly melted American cheese! Here's where it gets impressive: the one-person army – the cashier doubling up as the chef. And, no, he wasn't just a stand-in; he was genuinely kind and helpful. Kudos to you, sir! The burger was a masterpiece! Picture it: the buns, toasted to perfection, offered a slight crunch that contrasted well with the juicy, medium-rare patty. The toppings were fresh, and the house sauce – oh, the house sauce! It was flavorful, perfectly balanced, and did not overpower the burger's essence. And the cheese, it was beautifully melted, enhancing the rich beefy goodness. I must say, it wasn't just a burger; it was well-crafted with balanced flavors and textures. Each bite was delicious, echoing the care and technique that went into its creation. I'm already craving it again. The fries were also yummy too, and the secret? They're brined! I'm already planning my next visit, intrigued by the Kobe burger on the menu. If your heart (or stomach) is craving a great burger, I couldn't recommend this place enough. It's not just the food; it's the whole experience that leaves you wanting more. So, grab your favorite people (and furry friends), and head over for a night of yummy burgers!

So chill and good vibes. These burgers are amazing. We got a regular burger for the kiddo and I ordered the lamb burger (mamas mix) it was so good. Juicy and all the flavors you can taste from the meat to all the condiments, to the sauces. So good!!! Highly recommend

Flew from Texas for Sleep Token & ended up at Project Burger in Alameda — The burger? YEESSSSSS — juicy, flavorful, perfectly seared, with that buttery toasted bun that just melts right. Fries? Golden, crispy, and seasoned perfection . The staff was genuinely kind — not “corporate nice,” but real-people nice — the kind that makes female travelers feel completely at ease. The vibe was calm, cozy, and safe (which means everything when you’re traveling solo or as woman). Easy parking too, park in the garage….$3 for 4 hours ~after 5pm posted free. no sketchy side streets, just chill, good energy from start to finish…and walkable streets to look around the area. And……. let’s be honest — once iii gets a bite of these burgers and hand cut fresh fries, he won’t be asking for late-night pizza post-concert (Portland ) munchies ever again.

Hands down this is the best burger in the Bay. I stumbled across Project Burger in 2019, and have never been disappointed. The 1/2lb, grass-fed beef patty is cooked to order and is on point every.single.time. The fries are fantastic, with the right ratio of crisp outside to soft inside. Husam, owner and primary chef, is the best. He knows his regulars’ and semi-regular customers orders. my order even after leaving the Bay for several years. How this place isn’t slammed every night confuses me every time I go. Which is to say eat well and support an awesome local business owner.

Hasam is a gem. He makes mean burgers, and I always get the lamb burger. It is very reasonably priced. Also, he stocks soda from a company that uses only real cane sugar- no high fructose corn syrup junk here. The fries are fresh and tasty. I cannot recommend Project Burger highly enough. If you are nearny and/or going to a movie next door at Alameda Theater and Cineplex, do yourself a favor and grab a burger and beverage here first.

What an amazing burger. I had the California and enjoyed it so much. The seasoning and sauce were perfect. Every bite was moist and the avocodo was so creamy. Highly recommend! Also— I would say its the best chocolate shake/fry combo in town.

My partner and I dropped in at project burger one night when we were craving a good burger. The owner was very welcoming and quickly took our order, he was also cooking and serving the food all by himself which I thought was very impressive. I ordered the classic grass fed burger and my partner tried the mixed burger with lamb and beef. The burgers were so big, I had to give the rest of mine to my partner. The buns were thick enough not to fall apart while eating the burger and they had a nice crunch to them. My favorite part was the sauce that came with the burgers it was so yummy! We also ordered a basket of fries to share and the portion was very large for those as well. I feel like we definitely got our money's worth and left feeling very full. We will definitely be coming back very soon!
